Defaced stop sign in Berlin-Mitte, Germany.
The addition of the umlaut (the two dots above the letter ‘O’) changes the pronunciation of the word from “Stop” to something resembling “Stoop”.
As far as I know, “stöp” isn’t a word in German, so it’s just a funny pronunciation.
