Berlin Wall (Part III)
Traces of the former wall along Bernauerstraße.
In places where the Berlin Wall no longer stands (i.e., most of the length of the wall; very few actual fragments remain), the former location of the wall is marked by a small strip of stones in the ground. This strip runs across sidewalks, parks, roads… anywhere the wall once stood.
The strip marking the former wall is labelled: “Berliner Mauer [Berlin Wall] 1961 - 1989”.
